小麦株型是决定小麦产量的重要农艺性状,理想株型的塑造是提高小麦产量的重要途径。在前期工作中,我们从栽培小麦品种偃展4110的EMS诱变群体中,鉴定了一个紧凑株型小麦突变体,暂命名为dwarf and compact architecture 1 (dca1),表现出矮化、株型紧凑、叶色深绿等发育表型。本项目从克隆小麦株型重要调控基因DCA1入手,综合采用遗传学、生物化学、分子生物学和细胞学等技术手段深入解析DCA1调控小麦株型的分子机制,发掘其优异等位基因及开发功能性分子标记。本项目的实施将为小麦株型的遗传改良提供新的基因资源和理论支撑。
英文摘要
Plant architecture of wheat is an important agronomic trait that determines the yield of wheat, and the shaping of ideal plant architecture is an important way to improve the yield of wheat. In our previous work, we identified a wheat mutant with compact plant architecture, tentatively named as dwarf and compact architecture 1 (dca1), from the EMS mutant population of cultivated wheat variety Yanzhan 4110, showing dwarfing, compact plant-architecture, dark green leaves and other developmental phenotypes. This project starts with cloning DCA1, an important regulatory gene of wheat plant architecture, and comprehensively utilizes genetic, biochemical, molecular biology and cytology techniques to analyze the underlying mechanism by which DCA1 regulates wheat plant architecture, to discover its excellent alleles and to develop functional molecular markers. The implementation of this project will provide new genetic resources and theoretical support for genetic improvement of wheat plant architecture.
