椰子作为世界热带地区重要的经济作物,其种植成本低,综合利用价值高,是热带地区人民蛋白质、脂肪和能源需求的主要来源。椰果营养丰富,椰肉中富含月桂酸类中链脂肪酸等营养成分,含量明显高于其他作物种子。虽然椰子果肉中的代谢成分已有一定的研究进展,但椰子营养品质相关的代谢组学研究尚处于空白。本申请围绕椰子营养品质这一主线,以椰子种质资源为研究对象,构建椰子果肉的代谢组数据库,系统研究椰果中特殊营养成分的种类和含量,发掘一批富含特殊营养成分的种质资源,并探索椰肉代谢组在驯化过程中的变化规律。通过全基因组关联分析预测决定椰子营养品质的候选基因,解析椰子果肉营养代谢物的生化与遗传基础,挖掘品质提升的优良等位变异,建立代谢组辅助的椰子品质育种技术。上述研究为椰子营养品质改良提供理论基础和技术支撑,且对于其他热带经济作物遗传改良和营养品质研究有着重要的参考意义。

As an important economic crop in the tropics of the world, coconut has low planting costs and high comprehensive utilization value,and is the main source of protein, fat and energy demand for people in the tropics. The coconut is rich in nutrients, and the coconut meat is rich in nutrients such as lauric acid medium-chain fatty acids, which is significantly higher than other crop seeds. Although there has been some research progress on the metabolic components in coconut pulp, the metabolomics research related to coconut nutritional quality is still in the blank. This application focuses on the main line of coconut nutritional quality, taking coconut germplasm resources as the research object, constructing a metabolome database of coconut pulp, systematically studying the types and contents of special nutrients in coconut fruit, and discovering a batch of germplasm resources rich in special nutrients, and explore the metabolic changes during the domestication process. Through genome-wide association analysis to predict the candidate genes that determine the nutritional quality of coconut, analyze the biochemical and genetic basis of nutrient metabolites of coconut pulp, explore the excellent allelic variation of quality improvement, and establish a metabolome-assisted coconut quality breeding technology for the special nutritional quality of coconut. These studies provide theoretical basis and technical support for improving the nutritional quality of coconuts, and have important reference significance for genetic improvement and nutritional quality research of other tropical cash crops.
