目前关于渤海地区重金属污染沉积记录方面的研究还相对匮乏,且在空间上很难具有可比性。鉴于此,本项目拟开展渤海南部地区重金属沉积记录的重建及空间对比研究,本项目选择受黄河影响最大的渤海南部地区的沉积柱作为研究对象,利用210Pb-137Cs定年技术为沉积柱建立准确的年代框架,通过元素地球化学分析手段对不同沉积层位的重金属元素含量、常规理化指标等进行分析测定,重建历史时期的重金属污染记录并对其污染水平进行评估,在此基础上,进一步对渤海南部不同地区沉积柱中的重金属污染记录进行空间对比研究,探讨渤海南部地区重金属污染水平的差异及其与人类活动、经济发展水平之间的关系,本研究将为进一步开展环渤海地区的重金属污染沉积记录研究奠定基础,同时也为决策部门制定渤海环境保护政策提供科学依据。

Currently, historical records of heavy metal pollution in the Bohai Sea are still very rare. In addition, there are great differences and no spatial comparability for the heavy metal pollution records among different areas. Hence, this study plans to reconstruct heavy metal records and perform spatial comparison analysis in the southern part of the Bohai Sea. In this project, the sediment cores in the southern part of the Bohai Sea, which is significantly influenced by the Yellow River, are dated using 210Pb-137Cs technology to establish an accurate chronological framework. The heavy metal contents and physiochemical proxies are determined for different layers of the sediment cores using elemental geochemical analysis methods. Then, the historical records of heavy metal contamination in the study area could be reconstructed and the contamination assessment is performed for different periods. Based on the above analysis, we try to perform spatial comparison among different heavy metal pollution records from the southern part of the Bohai Sea. Then, the differences of heavy metal pollution records in the southern part of the Bohai Sea and its relationship with human activities and economic development are discussed. This study will lay the foundation for further study on comparison of heavy metal pollution records in the Bohai Sea Rim. Moreover, this project will also provide scientific basis for the decision-making departments to draft Bohai environmental protection policies.
