国产铁线莲属（毛茛科）种级水平的分类修订

毛茛科铁线莲属全世界已记载近400种。一些种类具有药用价值或重要的园艺价值。我国为该属重要的物种多样性中心，已记载约180种和许多变种。但根据初步的文献考证和标本检查，我们发现其中很多种和变种的界定很不清楚，一些分类群明显不能成立，一些种类的地理分布记载也颇混乱。本项目针对我国铁线莲属植物进行种级水平的分类修订。我们拟将文献考证、标本查阅和野外考察紧密结合起来，深入研究各主要形态性状的变异式样，确定性状的分类学价值，从而合理划分分类实体，并结合地理分布和生境资料，给予各实体合理的分类等级，最后对所有分类群的名称（包括异名）的模式进行考证，以保证命名的正确性，从而全面完成我国铁线莲植物种级水平的分类修订，澄清地理分布记载的混乱。本项目的开展将为开展铁线莲属的进化生物学和生物地理学研究奠定基础，也将为利用和保护我国铁线莲属植物种质资源提供可靠的基础资料。

Clematis L. is one of the large genera of the Ranunculaceae, with ca. 400 species recognized in the world. Some species of the genus can be medicinally used and some are horticulturally important and widely cultivated. China is the most important center of species diversity of the genus, with ca. 180 species and many varieties recorded. Based on preliminary literature survey and examination of herbarium specimens, however, we found that numerous Chinese species and varieties are poorly defined or even should be synonymized, and that the documentation of geographical distribution for many taxa is rather confusing. The aim of this project is to carry out a thorough species-level revision of the genus in China. We will first make a survey of all the relevant literature and herbarium specimens, and then conduct in-depth observations of living plants in the wild. We will then carefully analyze variation patterns of all the major morphological characters and determine their taxonomic value. Moreover, we will delimit taxonomic entities in line with the results of character analyses and, together with geographical and ecological data, give these entities appropriate taxonomic status. Furthermore, we will critically examine original materials of all the relevant names (including synonyms) at specific and varietal levels to guarantee a correct nomenclature of all the taxa recognized. We will also clarify the confusion in the documentation of geographical distribution of many taxa. This project will help to build a solid foundation for future studies on evolutionary biology and biogeography of Clematis in general, and will provide reliable basic data for the utilization and protection of the germplasm resources of the Chinese species in particular.
