当人们无法用日语字面描述某些现象或事件时，就会使用拟声词，据说人们在拟声词中表达了模糊和直观的感受。因此，一个能够使用象声词作为输入信息的界面系统就可以理解这样的用户的感受；此外，该系统将有助于增强创造性活动，例如计算机图形学等。在本研究中，我们提出了一种名为MOYA-MOYA绘图的绘图工具系统，可以利用用户表达的象声词作为绘图效果。评测实验表明，大多数用户反映该系统成功地将拟声词中的感受反映为目标图片上的某种绘图效果。
Onomatopoeias are used when one cannot describe certain phenomena or event literally in the Japanese language, and it is said that one's ambiguous and intuitive feelings are embedded in their expressed onomatopoeias. Therefore, an interface system that can use onomatopoeias as input information could comprehend such users' feelings; Moreover, this system would contribute to augmenting creative activities such as with computer graphics and so on. In this study, we proposed a drawing tool system named MOYA-MOYA drawing that can utilize user's expressed onomatopoeias as an drawing effect. The evaluation experiment showed that most users reported that this system succeeded in reflecting their feelings embedded in their onomatopoeias as certain drawing effects on the target pictures.
