Critical edition of Ramon Llull's op. 80-85

Ramon Llull's works op. 80-85, written in Paris in 1299, reflect the author's intellectual preoccupation with the academic debates of his day. Llull was an exceptionally independent thinker, and although his so called 'Ars' was a scientific method sui generis and substantially different from other medieval philosophical systems, he always tried to keep up-to-date with the Parisian scholastic milieu and to propose solutions for problems of topical interest. During his second stay in Paris, he had contacts not only with the royal court but also with several members of the university where he was allowed to lecture on his 'Ars'. The edition of the Parisian works written in 1299 will throw new light on the sources of his thought and on his critical approach towards theacademic life in Paris at the end of the thirteenth century.
