Impact of rainforest transformation on phylogenetic and functional diversity of soil prokaryotic communities in Sumatra (Indonesia) (B02)

利用宏基因组学和转录组学方法分别对土壤原核生物群落结构和生态系统功能进行了研究。为了确定土著基因和分类的特定模式和关键代谢功能的变化，伴随着雨林的转换，比较系统发育和功能配置文件的土壤微生物群落和时间变化的建立和相关的生物和非生物数据。将调查管理、生物多样性富集和处理引起的变化对土壤微生物多样性和功能的影响。该项目有助于揭示地下系统的组成和功能。

Community structure and ecosystem functions of entire and active soil prokaryotic communities are assessed by metagenomic and -transcriptomic approaches, respectively. To identify changes in indigenous gene- and taxon-specific patterns and key metabolic functions accompanying rainforest conversion, comparative phylogenetic and functional profiles of soil microbial communities and temporal changes are established and correlated to biotic and abiotic data. Impact of management, biodiversity enrichment and treatment-induced changes on soil microbial diversity and function will be investigated. The project contributes to unravel composition and function of the belowground system.
