Significance of intermediate filament in HCC

我用双向免疫电泳法检测了细胞角蛋白在肝癌发生过程中的变化。在某些肝癌病例中，细胞角蛋白的染色模式和斑点大小与非肝癌病变(即肝硬变病变)相比发生了变化。此外，在部分肝细胞癌组织中可见高分子细胞角蛋白，而在非肝细胞癌组织中未见高分子细胞角蛋白的表达。双向免疫单层凝胶电泳法显示，细胞角蛋白在肝癌发生过程中未发生表型改变。提示肝癌发生过程中可能存在细胞角蛋白和/或相关蛋白的代谢变化。

I examined the change of cytokeratin in the process of hepatocarcinogenesis using two dimensional immunoelectrophoresis.In some cases of HCC,staining pattern and the size of spot of cytokeratin were changed compared with those in non-HCC lesions, namely cirrhotic lesions. Furthermore, higher molecular cytokeratin was noted in some cases of HCC,however, this was not noted in the tissues from non-HCC lesions.Two dinsional immonoelectrophoresis demonstrated that phenotypic change of cytokeratin was not occurred in the process of hepatocarcinogenesis. The present study indicated that metabolic changes of cytokeratin and/or associated protein might occure in the process of hepatocarcinogenesis.
