The Historico-geographical Researches into the Construction Units, Standards and Environments of Jori Grid Pattern System.

我们对滋贺、京都、大阪、岐阜、爱知县和香川县的一些平原进行了深入研究。方法如下：1)利用垂直航拍照片、旧地图或其他与地形基础相关的材料，对Jori的建设单元进行调查。2)在宏观比例尺地图上，绘制了正方形的最小部分“Tsubo”。然后测量它们的边长，根据长度数据，用个人电脑绘制方框图。在方框图中，长度数据表示为高度数据。我们可以从中读出规律。特别是第二种方法是新的。我们发现这些数据在Jori网格模式系统的研究中非常有用。例如：1)“Tsubo”边的标准长度只有40%。2)南北两侧和东西两侧的长度有一个有趣的差异。3)找到了一些单元，每个单元都有不同类型的长度模式。这一新方法所获得的数据，不仅对辽河格网格局的研究，而且对其他历史地理学问题的研究都将带来新的进展。

We have intensively researched the Jori Grid Pattern Systems of the some plains in Shiga,Kyoto,Osaka,Gifu,Aichi and Kagawa Prefectures. The methods are following:1) The construction units of the Jori are investigated from vertical aerical photographs, old maps or other materials in relation to topographical base. 2) On the macro-scale maps,the smallest sections of square,"Tsubo",are traced. Then the length of their sides are measured and according to the data of length,block-diagrams are painted by a personal computer. The data of length are expressed as the data of height in the block- -diagrams. We can read the patterns from them.Especially the second method is the new one. And we found thesr data are very useful in the studies of Jori Grid Pattern Systems. For example: 1)Standard length of "Tsubo" sides are only 40%. 2)There is the interesting difference between the length of the north-south sides and west-east sides. 3)Some units are found each of which has the different kind of the length pattern.These data from this new method can bring a progress to the researches of not only Jori Grid Pattern but other historico-geographical problems.
