Improving the Matteson Homologation for Natural Product Syntheses

该项目的目标是开发mattson同源物作为天然产物立体选择性合成的通用工具。现有的工具箱应该通过使用功能化的构建块来扩展，提供一系列不同类别的天然产物（氨基酸、肽、聚酮、大环内酯等）。新制定的协议将直接应用于全合成，以评价和证明其范围和局限性。

The goal of this project is to develop the Matteson Homologation as a general tool for the stereoselective synthesis of natural products. The existing tool box should be expanded by using functionalized building blocks, giving access to a range of different classes of natural products (amino acids, peptides, polyketides, macrolides, …). The new developed protocols will directly be applied in total syntheses to evaluate and demonstrate their scope and limitations.
