The requested tool grinding machine tool is part of the appointment commitment of the applicant and meant to broaden the expertise of his team in the area of tool grinding and 5-axes manufacturing of complex geometries in different materials. This grinding machine tool offers for the first time the opportunity to develop and manufacture new test cutting tools. Emphasis is given to drilling and milling tools as well as to modify the geometry of gear hobs. Aspired is also the development of grinding technologies for other precision parts that can be accessed by the complex 6-axes kinematics of the machine tool.
