Adverbial clauses and subordinate dependency relations

该网络的主要目的是从共时、历时和跨语言的角度研究状语从句，并加深对从属依存关系的理解。该网络应该关注以下主要问题：1)与主句的依存关系；2)与并列结构和其他类型的从属从句的区别；3)起源、发展、变异；4)用作状语论元从句和状语状语从句。这些问题应该在六次网络会议上讨论，主要集中在语法-语义接口上。

The main aim of the network is to investigate adverbial clauses from a synchronic, diachronic and cross-linguistic perspective, and to gain a deeper understanding of subordinate dependency relations. The network is supposed to focus on the following main issues: i) dependency relation with respect to the main clause, ii) differentiation from coordinate structures and other types of subordinate clauses, iii) origin, development, variation, and iv) use as adverbial argument clauses and as adnominal adverbial clauses. These questions should be addressed at the six network meetings with the main focus on the syntax-semantics interface.
