Studies on organization and on-line networking of species information of East Asian insects

1. “昆虫学数据库KONCHU”的重建与对外开放。将物种信息数据库KONCHU转移到工作站，并对数据库管理系统SIGMA进行了修订。在新系统中，搜索更容易、更有用。KONCHU于1999年6月在互联网上向公众开放，并设有日语和英语的主页。到2000年3月为止，将拥有16个数据库文件。以《日本昆虫名录》为基础的“孔丘”重建与对外开放。修改了MOKUROKU文件（Tadauchi et al., 1990）以供外国人使用，其搜索更容易，更有用。MOKUROKU从1999年9月开始在互联网上向公众开放，并有日语和英语的主页。日本昆虫名称词典管理。一部有两个搜索器的词典，从日语名称到科学名称，以及其中的河流，已建成并在互联网上向公众开放。昆虫物种信息库及昆虫类型标本建设。建立了古北凤头蜂、亚洲凤头蜂等8个野生蜜蜂种类信息数据库和九州大学保存的2个模式标本数据库。标题东亚昆虫的分类研究。主要研究者和研究人员在每个特殊的分类学领域进行了研究，共发表了12篇使用东亚材料的文章。

1. Reconstruction and opening to the public of "Entomology Database KONCHU".Species information database KONCHU was transferred to a workstation and the database management system SIGMA was revised. The search is easier and more useful in a new system. The KONCHU has been opened to the public on INTERNET from June, 1999, and has homepages both in Japanese and English. It will have 16 database files until March, 2000.2. Construction of species information database on insects and insect type specimens.Eight database on species information of wild bees, such as Palaearctic Andrena, Asian Halictus were produced and also two databases on type specimens preserved in Kyushu University.5. Taxonomic studies on East Asian insects.Head investigator and investigators studied in each special taxonomic field and a total of 12 articles using East Asian materials were published.
