A New Evaluation and its Educational Effect in Industrial Arts and Homemaking Educations

本文提出了一种新的评价方法，即基于对初中工艺美术和家政课程教学过程的实际分析。该方法采用模式识别中的“匹配”思想，将教师对教学活动的评价与学生对学习活动的自我评价进行比较。这种方法被称为“匹配评估”，它的独特之处在于：(1)可以了解学生学习的有效性作为时间的函数；(2)通过确定班级平均水平，可以评估整个教学过程。将该方法应用于实际情况，即初中工艺美术的电学领域和家庭烹饪领域，可以根据时间的变化对学生的学习活动进行分类，也可以进行个性化的教学。

A new method of evaluation, one based upon a practical analysis of the teaching/learning process, for courses in industrial arts and homemaking at the junior high school level, is proposed by us. This method adopts the idea of "matching", used in pattern recognition to compare evaluations of the teacher's instructional activities with the students' self-evaluation of thier learning activities. Called "Matched Evaluation", this method is uniquein that (1) it is possible to understand the effectiveness of the students' learning as a function of time and (2) by determining the class average it is possible to evaluate the overall teaching/learning process.Applying this method to real situation, the electricity area of industrial arts and the food area of homemaking at the junior high school, shows that it permits classification of student learning activities based upon changes over time and that it also makes individualized instruction possible.
