Development of Geographical Information Systems for Grid-based Data

本研究开发了基于网格数据的个人计算机辅助地理信息系统。该系统包括：1)以1970年、1980年和1990年日本人口普查为例的网格数据数据库；2)基于标准网格代码的数据转换；3)基于栅格的数据制作；4)网格数据的制图和打印；5)网格数据的统计分析。该系统的一个实用和有用的特点是它包含了许多计算机软件列表，以支持数字数据转换，网格映射和统计操作应用程序。

In this research program, personal computer-aided Geographical Information Systems for Grid-based Data is developed. This system consists of 1) the database of grid-based data, e.g. Japanese Census in 1970, 1 980 and 1990, 2) transforming data based on the standard mesh code, 3) making raster-based data, 4) mapping and printing grid-data, and 5) statistical analysis for grid-data.A practical and useful feature of this system is that it contains many computer software listings to support a number data transformation, grid mapping and statistical manipulation applications.
