A Study of the Development of Pansophia in Comenius'"Orbis pictus,,

I Expressed my opinion about "The Principle of the careful Selection in Comenius' Textbook,, (The Japan Society for the Study of Education. 1992) and Comenius' Textbook and the Development of Pansophia,, (Faculty of Letters Review Otemon Gakuin University. No27.1993).3. For the first time in Japan, I analyzed Comenius' many textbooks. My investigation revealed the fact that Comenius' concept of Pansophia had two categories. The one is existential, the other is essential. And his concept moved from the former to the latter.
