Maternal Effect and the Development of CL/P among Japanese

对947例患病儿童母亲(CL：268例，CLP：435例，CP：243例)和947例正常儿童母亲进行对照，探讨母亲环境与CL/P发生率的关系。这一对比是在同一时期进行的。对照组在不同条件下与病例组尽可能匹配。结果表明，在中电组中，母亲食用大量绿色蔬菜的人数少于对照组(p&lt；0.01)，而很少食用绿色蔬菜的母亲人数较多(p&lt；0.05)。我们还对母亲的吸烟习惯进行了分析，发现病例组和对照组之间没有显著差异。在母亲对绿色蔬菜的偏好与吸烟习惯的关系上，绿色蔬菜的影响对吸烟者没有任何影响，吸烟者之间没有观察到裂缝类型的差异。但在非吸烟者中，很少食用绿色蔬菜的人群中CLP和CP的发病率都很高(p&lt；0.05)。

We investigated the relation between maternal environment and the incidence of CL/P comparing between a case group of 947 mothers of diseased children (CL : 268, CLP : 435, CP : 243) and the control group of 947 mothers of normal children. The comparison was made in the same period. The control group were matched as closely as possible with the case group in various conditions. We analyzed its results especially concentrating on the preference of mothers during the early pregnancy.Consequently, in the case of CLP,the number of mothers comsuming much green vegetables was small compared with the control group (p<0.01), while the number of those rarely consuming them was large (p<0.05). We also analyzed mothers'smoking habit and no significant differences were found between the case and control group. Concerning the relation between mothers'preference for green vegetables and smoking habit, green vegetables'influence doesn't have any effect on smokers as no differences were observed in the cleft types among smokers. But among non-smokers, high incidence of both CLP and CP was recognized in the group rarely consuming green vegetables (p<0.05).
