Development of metaheuristics for hard and practical computation problems

在“算法工程”(优先领域科学研究助学金：1999-2001)成果的基础上，我们对现实世界中供应链优化的组合优化问题进行了深入的研究。供应链是一个重要的研究领域。在众多的供应链优化问题中，我们研究了库存计划、机器调度等问题。我们的研究目的是通过开发解决这些问题的实用算法，在供应链理论和实践之间架起一座桥梁。

Based on the results of "Algorithm Engineering" (Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Priority Areas : 1999-2001), we have studied hard and practical combinatorial optimization problems for supply-chain optimization in real worlds. Supply chain is an important research area. Among many supply chain optimization problems, we have investigated inventory planning, machine scheduling problems. The object of our research is to bridge theory and practice in supply chain by developing practical algorithms for these problems.
