A Study on Decision Support Aids toward Recycling-based Society with Regard to Diversity

Evaluation is necessary to implement any kinds of projects or policies, and also environmental issues. In our complex society, how to evaluate, how to fulfill the accountability, and how to achieve the agreement are the problems. In the field of environmental science, we have already developed some methods for decision-aids. However, these methods cannot be used as yet to adequately handle diversity, complexity, and uncertainty. In last year's research announcement, we discussed the outline of past research on the application of multicriteria analysis to environmental problems in recent years, focused on Europe is established. And, we examined the results and the problems of our past studies in order to discuss future studies. In addition, we designed a trial experiment to obtain the necessary findings.In this research, we will continue to discuss the framework of evaluation in terms of multi-frames, multi-criteria, and multi-subjects, that is to say MCAV(Multicriteria Analysis for visualization). Specifically we will discuss about an evaluation of recycling system for pruned branches and leaves, focused on visualization.
