A fundamental study on decline of Indian Buddhism

佛教在印度衰落的问题不仅让许多佛教学者感到困惑，也让其他对这一主题感兴趣的历史学家感到困惑。尽管如此，这一课题在很大程度上被学者们忽视了，因此一直没有得到充分的研究。其中一个主要原因是碑文材料的匮乏和本土文学的沉默。我试图通过创新方法来改变这种状况，并为这个问题做了一个研究圈。

The issue of the decline of Buddhism in India has baffled not only many of the Buddhist scholars, but also other historians who have been interested in this theme. Still now, this subject has largely ignores by scholars and as a result has remained inadequately researched. One of major reason is the paucity of epigraphic materials and the silence of indigenous literature. I have tried to change this situation by innovating new approaches and made a research circle for this issue.
