Thinking the balance-sheet of friendship/hostility between East African pastoral ethnic groups : multi-layeredness of coexistential situations

本研究的目的是调查的平衡？东非游牧民族之间的友谊/敌意，适当注意微观层面的个人关系。在这一地区，族群间的关系被认为分为两种类型，即敌对/友谊，即他们相互袭击他们的家畜或不袭击家畜。本研究澄清了这两种关系都不是稳定的，而是根据上下文和情况灵活变化的。不同族群个体之间的互动性人际友好关系在族群层面上具有重要作用。

This study aimed to investigate the balance ? sheet of friendship/hostility between East African pastoral ethnic groups, paying due attention to micro-level personal relationships. In this area, relationships of inter-ethnic groups have been considered that they are divided into two types, as hostility/friendship which they raid their domestic animals mutually each other or not. This study clarified that these two types of relationship are not stable, rather than flexible according to contexts and situations. The interactive personal friendly relationship between individuals belonging to different ethic groups plays definitely important role on the ethnic group level.
