Intracellular positioning mechanism of chloroplasts mediated by plant villin

光合作用细胞器叶绿体的均匀分布是维持光合作用在不同环境条件下最佳状态的关键。环境波动引起的叶绿体再分布包括叶绿体的去锚定、迁移和再锚定。在这项研究中，我们发现，去锚定的叶绿体，其重新分配的第一步，是通过重组肌动蛋白细胞骨架下的钙-钙调蛋白的控制。我们进一步提出了一种可能性，肌动蛋白结合蛋白绒毛蛋白参与的机制。

Advantageous distribution pattern of photosynthesizing organelle chloroplasts is crucial to maintain optimal photosynthesis under different environmental conditions. Redistribution of chloroplasts induced by environmental fluctuations entails de-anchoring, relocation movement, and re-anchoring of chloroplasts. In this study, we revealed that de-anchoring of chloroplasts, the initial step of their redistribution, is brought about through reorganization of actin cytoskeleton under the control of calcium-calmodulin. We further raised a possibility that an actin-binding protein villin is involved in the mechanism.
