Analysis of mechanisms of protozoan invasion into the retinal endothelium of congenital toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis

建立先天性视网膜脉络膜炎模型。感染后视网膜中IFN-γ、趋化因子和粘附分子的表达非常高。因此，IFN-γ、趋化因子和粘附分子在先天性弓形浆性视网膜脉络膜炎发病机制中具有重要作用。视网膜内检出刚地弓形虫，视网膜血管周围有细胞浸润，呈血管炎，视网膜内荧光染料渗漏。

We established the model of congenital toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis. The expression of IFN-γ, chemokines and adherence molecules in the retina were extremely high after infection. Thus, IFN-γ, chemokines and adherence molecules have important roles on the mechanisms of pathogenesis of congenital toxoplasmic retinochoroiditis. Toxoplasma gondii was detected in the retina and there were cell infiltration around the retinal vessels showing vasculitis and leakage of fluorescence dye in the retina.
