Polarization of aspiration for career and educational achievement among high school students and support by teachers.

本研究旨在探讨高中生的日常生活意识、社会性别规范、自我形象、职业期望以及对教育和职业成就的期望。对东京高中生进行的问卷调查结果显示，他们的意识和态度取决于他们所就读的学校的特点。对高中教师的采访表明，他们对学生的职业指导中蕴含的性别偏见假设在不同的学校也不同。

This research aims to explore the everyday consciousness, social and gender norms, self-image, career expectation, and aspiration for educational and career attainment among high school students. The findings of the questionnaire survey conducted to high school students in Tokyo show that their consciousness and attitudes depend on the features of schools they attend. The interviews to high school teachers suggest that the gender-biased assumptions underlain in their career guidance to their students vary in schools as well.
