Characteristic of children with developmental disabilities with respect to physical fitness and physiological stress.

患有发育障碍(CDD)的儿童通常身体笨拙。我们假设，这种身体笨拙的原因是肌肉紧张，心理社会应激导致的动机薄弱伴随着发育障碍。为了验证这一假设，我们测量了CDD患者的体能和尿应激激素。CDD的尿应激激素状态与神经型同龄人不同，但在体能方面没有差异。这些结果没有阐明CDD的身体素质和生理应激的特征，但提示CDD在生理应激状态下与神经典型的同龄人并不相似。

Children with developmental disabilities(CDD) are often physically clumsy. We hypothesized that the reasons of this physically clumsy is muscle tonus and the weak motivation by psychosocial stress accompany developmental disabilities. To verify the hypothesis, we measured the physical fitness and urinary stress hormone in CDD. CDD were different in urinary stress hormone state compared to neurotypical peers, but not different in physical fitness. These results did not clarify the characteristic of physical fitness and physiological stress in CDD, but suggest that CDD are not similar to neurotypical peers in physiological stress state.
