This proposal is an overall bracket for the priority programme TiP. Strong and efficient project coordination is a major requirement for providing essential framework conditions reaching the goals of TiP. Cross-linking the various research groups, fostering all general purposes of Sino-German collaboration, and taking care about continuous information flow and integration of the research results are crucial aspects. These aspects are particularly important as TiP is an international, intercultural and interdisciplinary research programme in a logistically difficult area. Responsibilities will comprise all project related coordination tasks, as scientific organization, Sino-German bilateral communication, organization of meetings and workshops, preparation of field campaigns, support of young scientists, financial management, support of the Chinese guest scientist program, webpage design and maintenance, and public relation issues.
