Advanced Winding training System for Electrical Machines (AWSEM)

Advanced Winding training System for Electrical Machines (AWSEM) will build on results from the recently conducted DER project on Advanced Hairpin Windings and develop an online training platform to drive the adoption of this technology within the UK Power Electronics, Motors and Drives (PEMD) supply chain.The tool will include easy to follow methods for design of hairpin windings, including online presentation of design guidelines that will be easy to update in future as new knowledge is created and the field of knowledge evolves.
