MetaCoach is an AI powered group therapy coach for the metaverse (a virtual-reality space in which users can interact with a computer-generated environment and other users).MetaCoach delivers mental health support to users via an immersive, virtual reality environment. This is achieved by using voice-activated avatars to interact with an AI-powered group therapy coach avatar. The AI-powered coach facilitates the group discussion, encourages participation, proposes next steps, and facilitates connection with professional therapists. This helps users to self-manage stressors by blending AI-guided listening with professional expert support.
