HYDRA - User Location Sensing for Disaster Recovery

近年来，人们越来越意识到在灾难中使用手机来定位人口流动。这一基本概念在海地地震期间首次得到测试，通过分析280万部手机向基站发出的2.82亿次移动电话，来确定人口的下落。HYDRA是在海地使用的技术的进化概念，通过在灾区部署的基站对移动电话信号进行三角测量来定位用户位置。

In recent years, there has been growing awareness of using mobile phones to locate population movements during a disaster. The basic concept was first tested during the Haiti Earthquake to locate population whereabouts by analysing 282 million mobile phone calls to masts from 2.8 million individual phones. HYDRA is an evolutionary concept of the technique used in Haiti, to locate user position by triangulating mobile phone signals with base stations deployed locally in a disaster zone.
