This project offers the opportunity to save life, detect & prevent crime using enhancedprosecutable evidence, reduce CO2 emissions and create 30 UK jobs. Servo technology is an essential part of the CCTV’sPan Tilt and Zoom (PTZ) high resolution package because of its high accuracy &repeatability.We have identified an opportunity for innovative step change & revolutionary thinking in ourservo and its stator design and manufacture so we can compete on cost with low accuracy FarEast Stepper motors.By proving the concept and offering a breakthrough in servos and CCTV we will be able tocompete on cost with Far East, poor accuracy, stepper motors. The cost & technical benefitswill enable mass uptake of high resolution imaging so crime prevention and prosecution canincrease. Helios technologies will future proof our offerings because it can be used withemerging 4K video. (4K is 4 times the resolution of 1080p HDTV).We shouldn’t tolerate criminals or terrorists. The next step has to be crime prevention.Unfortunately most CCTV in use doesn’t have the capability to help because of very poorvideo resolution.We urgently need to prove the concept to help fight crime, reduce CO2 emissions andcompete.
