DENUFOSOL TETRASODIUM INHALATION SOLUTION IN PATIENTS W MILD CYSTIC FIBROSIS

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. This study that plans to enroll 5 patients at HMC. Patients with cystic fibrosis aged 14 or older will be recruited conditional on relevant pulmonary screening requirements and randomized to a 14-day trial of 552-02 versus placebo. 552-02 is a sodium transport inhibitor which may be efficacious in clearing mucus from the airways in CF patients.
