Can Symptom monitoring With Feedback to clinicians improve the lives of people on dialysis? (SWIFT)

The Symptom monitoring WIth Feedback Trial (SWIFT) is an Australia & New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Association (ANZDATA) registry-based randomised trial to improve the lives of people on kidney dialysis. The trial will enrol 160 dialysis units (>3,000 people) to determine whether routine monitoring of symptoms such as pain and nausea, with feedback to clinicians, can improve health-related quality of life. An economic evaluation will determine the intervention's cost-effectiveness.
