Our first demonstration of the few electron lateral dot quantum dot has been followed by a decade of dramatic experiments worldwide in several fields of condensed matter physics, where setting an exact number of electrons is important such as quantum computing. To date the single and double few electron quantum dot systems have been extensively explored. In this proposal we aim to go beyond this and develop more complex quantum dot circuits and use them to develop and demonstrate more complex quantum information functionalities. This will include triple and quadruple arrangements of quantum dots.
