We are requesting funds for the purchase of two refrigerated centrifuges (one a low-speed + high-throughput unit, one microcentrifuge) that are required for daily preparation of biological samples. This standard equipment is needed for nearly every routine molecular and biochemical procedure we conduct in our lab. Our current units are either obsolete or nonfunctional and need urgent replacement.
