英文摘要
Understanding changes in free-living soil nematode assemblages under no-till and conventional tillage systems will allow better understanding of the relationship between soil biodiversity and changes in crop productivity. There is an overall need to develop biological indicators of soil health, and diagnose soil health status by determining ratios of beneficial and detrimental soil nematodes under different tillage and cropping systems. The development of a rapid and replicable molecular approach using TRFLP will improve the ability of growers to routinely monitor the soil nematode community. Yet TRFLP methods are current commercially unavailable to profile soil nematode communities. The realisation of these goals will allow A&L Laboratories (A&L) to make these tools available to growers so they can assess whether their agronomic practices have made their soil more productive via the development of beneficial soil nematodes. This premise is dependent
