The proposed research concerns several aspects of Operator Theory and Linear Algebra. One aspect deals with various types of isometries of operator algebras. One may imagine these as some kind of "rotations" that does not change the algebra. Another aspect deals with theoretical operator equations that are important for the solutions of partial differential equations that model physical phenomena such as waves. Another aspect deals with decomposing matrices into products of special types of matrices.
