英文摘要
For centuries we have relied on the Solar System for understanding our origins. Now, over 700 confirmed planets have been discovered around other stars, and our knowledge of the Solar System itself continues to grow. New data from a range of sources, such as meteorites, comets, and the arrangements of planets in multi-planet systems, continuously challenge classical pictures of planet formation. I will lead a multidisciplinary research program, synthesizing theoretical and observational studies ranging from the development of planet-forming disks to the long-term evolution of planetary systems, to build a holistic view of the birth of planets.
