英文摘要
Projected warming through the next century will be most strongly expressed at high latitudes. These areas are amongst the most sensitive to environmental change and play an important role in the global climate system. However, future trajectories of Arctic systems are poorly known. The purpose of this research is to establish robust archives of past Arctic dynamics from geologic records that span climate intervals as warm or warmer than present, and provide a roadmap for future changes. This research builds on the established program by the applicant in northwestern Canada and Alaska.
