The proposed research program will develop next-generation, autonomous and self-optimizing wireless networks that can support ultra-fast, ultra-reliable and low-latency connectivity for 5G verticals including smart grid, autonomous vehicles, healthcare and industrial IoT. Dr. Erol Kantarci¿s program is aiming to develop innovative Artificial Intelligence-based resource allocation, interference and mobility management solutions, as well as edge computing techniques that will weave machine learning into the network fabric in an unprecedented way.
