The International Symposium on Flood Frequency and Risk Analyses, scheduled for May l4-l7, l986 at Louisana State University will: assess the state-of-the-art of flood frequency and risk analyses in urban, coastal, and rural areas; demonstrate the applicability of statiscal models; discuss the experiences of various countries on flooding occurrence, consequences, prediction, etc.; and suggest directions for future research. Proceedings will be published.
