New Directions in Civil Engineering Research for Undergraduates

土木工程所有学科的本科生都有研究经验，并与本系赞助的研究相协调。每周两次的特别研究研讨会和期末论文要求加强了直接研究经验。协调委员会选择合适的研究项目。项目协调员每年都要访问地区校园，并在美国土木工程师协会的学生分会展示学生的论文，以此来延续和扩大学生的兴趣。

Undergraduate research experience is available in all disciplines within civil engineering in coordination with sponsored research conducted in the department. Direct research experience is reinforced by the special twice-a-week research seminar and final paper requirements. Appropriate research projects are chosen by the coordination committee. Continuation and expansion of student interest is enforced by yearly visits to regional campuses by the program coordinator and presentation of the students' paper at their home campus student chapters of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
