This award is an interagency transfer, providing the NSF share of support for the International TOGA (Tropical Ocean and Global Atmosphere Experiment) Project Office. The ITPO will coordinate international contributions to the TOGA Program and improve the effectiveness of joint scientific efforts. The U.S. support been negotiated through a Memorandum of Agreement between the U.S.A. and the World Meteorological Organization.
