This award provides travel support to scientists attending the Fifth Scientific Assembly of the International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Physics in Reading, UK, 31 July - 11 August 1989. Individual requests will be administered by the American Geophysical Union. The selections will be made by a committee comprised of scientists from the Subcommittee for IAMAP of the U.S. National Committee for the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics, with prudent considerations given to the disciplines, career levels, and geographical distribution.//
