US-USSR Workshop on Science Indicators (Moscow, USSR: January 18 - February 1, 1991)

This proposal supports the international travel costs of three specialists who are integral members of the U.S. team delegation to the US-USSR Seminar on Science and Engineering Indicators, January 18-February 1 in USSR. This seminar will provide an opportunity for American and Soviet experts to exchange ideas and develop plans for long-term cooperation in this area. This project fulfills the program objective of advancing scientific knowledge by enabling leading researchers in the US and the USSR to combine complementary efforts and capabilities in areas of strong mutual interest and competence in the field of basic scientific research on the basis of equality, reciprocity, and mutuality of benefit.
