CUEBS - Commission for Undergraduate Education in Biological Sciences - A Reassessment, August 4-8, 1991, San Antonio, Texas

The PI requests funds for a CUEBS (Commission on Undergraduate Education in the Biological Sciences) Panel to be held at the AIBS annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas, August 4-8, 1991. This panel will be composed of individuals who were members of the original commission, participated in CUEBS-sponsored workshops and/or were authors of various CUEBS publications. The topics to be addressed are: Biology in a liberal education, Biology for non-majors, the role of modules and technology in biological education, the laboratory as a place to investigate, and preparing scientists to become educators.
