This award supports the Fifth International Conference on the Learning Sciences (formerly the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education). The Conference will be held August 4-7, 1991 at The Institute for the Learning Sciences at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and will continue to explore new ideas and tools to improve teaching and learning in all settings (schools, corporate training programs, etc.) The Conference takes place biennially with alternating American and international hosts.
