Research Experiences for Undergraduates in Environmental Science and Engineering

佛罗里达国际大学环境科学与工程本科生研究经验项目的目标是在本科阶段激发和促进环境科学与工程本科生的兴趣、好奇心、创造性和批判性思维。这项工作将涉及学生的一个综合研究项目，涉及污染物的移动和扩散以及污染介质的处理，以尽量减少对环境的潜在损害。该研究项目将让学生参与与污染物的移动和处理相关的不同领域的研究。研究将在以下领域进行：环境科学（环境生物学、环境物理学和环境化学）、环境工程（环境建模和过程设计）；环境伦理学。

The objective of the Research Experiences for Undergraduates program in Environmental Science and Engineering at Florida International University is to stimulate and promote interest, curiosity, creative and critical thinking of undergraduate students in environmental science and engineering during their early ears in the undergraduate program. This work will involve the students in a comprehensive research program relative to movement and dispersion of contaminants and treatment of contaminated media to minimize potential damage to the environment. This research program will engage students in different areas of research relative to movement and treatment of contaminants. The research will be conducted in the following areas: environmental sciences (environmental biology, environmental physics, and environmental chemistry; environmental engineering (environmental modeling and process design); environmental ethics.
