9353053 Kohser The University of Missouri-Rolla seeks to initiate a 4-week, summer residential, Young Scholars program in engineering and earth science for 20 students enteri.ng grade 12. Activities include classroom discussions, field trips, and laboratory experiences designed to present science and engineering careers relating to minerals, materials, energy, and the environment. The students will also have an opportunity to work one-to-one with a university scientist in a research project.
