9452688 Gottfried The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry will inititate a six week, summer residential, Young Scholars project in interdisciplinary science in Archaeology, Paleontology, and Aquatic Biology for 30 students entering grades 11 and 12. The program will involve students in one of three research teams: (a) Paleontology/Geology; 9v) Freshwater Ecology/Fisheries, or (c) Archeology Research. Each team will participate in the on-going research of its leader researcher. Each young Scholar will conduct an individual research project. Additional activities include classroom lectures and discussions, field trips, and hands-on laboratory activities.
