*** 9552937 Whitney The Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology will initiate a 4-week, summer commuter, Young Scholars project in mathematics for 50 African American students entering grades 9 and 10. The program will stress positive career skills, appropriate problem solving skills and the development of a network supportive of pursuit of mathematics or mathematics dependent careers.
